Hi there. I'm Andrea from beadaholique.pro In this video I'm going to show you how to use a bead cone to hide multiple strands. Bead cones come in a variety of finishes and sizes and shapes as you can see. And they're primarily used for concealing multiple strands when making a bracelet or a necklace. I'm going to show you how to use them for that purpose today. Here I have five strands of fine soft flex that I've individually beaded and they're all secured on one end with a bead stopper. They're all roughly about the same length. At the very end, for about maybe three-quarters of an inch, I have threaded 11/0 delicas. And the reason for that is that I want my strand to tamper off so all of the strands can fit comfortably within a bead cone. At the very end of the strand, I have threaded a 1.3 millimeter crimp bead. And here I have a piece of wire that I cut. Its twenty gauge artistic wire in the silver color. And I've created a wrapped wire loop at one end. Essentially what you're going to do, is you're going to tread each individual strand through the loop at one end of the wire, back through the crimp bead, and you're going to pull snug and you're going to crimp that bead with a pair of crimping pliers. Once you have all of your strands crimped onto the loop, you're going to insert you're wire through the bead cone and pull all the strands into the bead cone. And then you can make another wrapped wire loop at the other end. And that's when you're going to attach your clasp or a jump ring or whatever you need to attach there.
